Five Day Gorilla Tour

You will tour Bwindi a lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. The afternoon is spent on a community walk/visit around the local communities living around the park, the following day you get ready for Gorilla trekking that begins at 8:00 Am with a briefing from the UWA officials. Visitors are advised to carry along with a rain jacket, drinking water, simple snacks, jungle boots etc the ranger guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been reserved for. Always take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Gorilla trekking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort.

You will also visit Lake Mburo National park having lunch at the Igongwa cultural centre and an evening game drive as you enter the park, lots of animals grazing in the evening and a chance to spot leopards is high.

The tour ends with tour to Lake Mburo with activities such us a morning horse ride as you do the morning game drive in the rich open savannah with lots of birds an animals or and option of a morning boat trip on the lake Mburo is rewarding. Drive to Kampala Entebbe to catch up on in preparation of the flight

Return details: Tour concludes with drop off at your flight or hotel. Please note safaris return between 2:00pm and 5:00pm, therefore we recommend if you are departing Nairobi the same day you do not book a flight any earlier than 8:00pm.

DAY 1: Kampala

You are met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel for overnight sta. Full board accommodation at Lake Victoria Serena Resort & Spa or similar

DAY 2: Kampala- Bwindi Forest

0800hrs pick up at your hotel and drive to Bwindi via Mbarara. A stop over at Equator crossing for refreshments and photography, Lunch en-route. Thereafter, drive to Bwindi. Full board accommodation Silver Back safari lodge or similar

DAY 3: Bwindi Gorilla tracking

After breakfast Gorilla tracking begins at 8:00 for 2 – 6 hours. Full board accommodation at Silver Back safari lodge or similar

DAY 4: Bwindi- Lake Mburo National park

After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National park, lunch at the Igongwa cultural centre. Evening game drive. Full board accommodation Mburo safari Lodge or similar

DAY 5: Lake Mburo activities.

After breakfast get ready for a morning horse ride as you do the morning game drive with optional boat trip on the lake Mburo. Drive to Kampala Entebbe.Full board accommodation at Booma Hotel or similar. End of service.
