Five Day Queen-Bwindi Tour

Touring Queen Elizabeth national park through Fort Portal, lots of farmlands on the foot hills of the Rwenzori mountain and scenic view of the “Mountains of the Moon”, boat trip on the Kazinga channel where you will have your sight on the channel that connects the Salty lake Edward and fresh water lake George both named after Queen Victoria’s Children. Game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs and a variety of birds. Continue to Katunguru for community and cultural performances by the women group in conservation as you test the local foods during lunch. Game drives at Ishasha on your way to Bwindi in search of the tree climbing lions. Later, drive to Bwindi via the beautiful scenery of the tea plantations. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds.

The tour will not end without Gorilla tracking experience, visitors are advised to carry along with a rain jacket, drinking water, simple snacks, jungle boots etc the ranger guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been reserved for. Get your all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Gorilla trekking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it is well worth the effort.

You end your tour via the farmlands of the Ankole long horned cattle and the sceneries of the Kabale ranches and Ngurinko hills with lunch en-route and stop over at Equator Uganda for photographs and souvenirs.

DAY 1: Kampala

You are met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel for overnight sta. Full board accommodation at Lake Victoria Serena Resort & Spa or similar 

DAY 2: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National park

0700hrs pick at your hotel and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park arriving in time for early lunch early afternoon for a boat trip on the Kazinga channel where you will have your sight on the channel that connects the Salty lake Edward and fresh water lake George both named after Queen Victoria’s Children. Full board accommodation Mweya safari lodge or similar

DAY 3: Katunguru Women group to Climbing lions.

Early morning game drive, mid morning visit to Katunguru for community and cultural performances by the women group, after lunch, game drive at Ishasha on your way to Bwindi in search of the tree climbing lions. Full board accommodation Silver Back safari lodge or similar

DAY 4: Gorilla tracking experience

After breakfast Gorilla tracking begins at 8:00 for 2 – 6 hours. Full board accommodation at Silver Back safari lodge or similar

DAY 5: Bwindi – Kampala-Entebbe

After breakfast return to Kampala, then Entebbe. Full board accommodation at Booma Hotel or similar.  End of service
