Four Day Gorilla Tour

Tour to Bwindi offers a chance to visit the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. While tracking the rare mountain Gorillas visitors are advised to carry along with a rain jacket, drinking water, simple snacks, jungle boots etc the ranger guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been reserved for. Gorilla trekking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort. You will end this tour with a visit to Lake Mburo National park and Igongwa cultural centre

Return details: Tour concludes with drop off at your flight or hotel. Please note safaris return between 2:00pm and 5:00pm, therefore we recommend if you are departing Nairobi the same day you do not book a flight any earlier than 8:00pm.

DAY 1: Kampala

You are met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel for overnight sta. Full board accommodation at Lake Victoria Serena Resort & Spa or similar

DAY 2: Kampala to Bwindi Forest

0800hrs pick up at your hotel at and drive to Bwindi via Mbarara. A stop over at Equator crossing for refreshments and photography, Lunch en-route, proceed to Bwindi. Afternoon is spent on a community walk/visit around the local communities living around the park. Full board accommodation at Silver Back safari lodge or similar

DAY 3 Bwindi Gorilla tracking

After breakfast Gorilla tracking begins at 8:00 for 2 – 6 hours. Full board accommodation at Silver Back safari lodge or similar

DAY 4: Bwindi- Entebbe through Lake Mburo National park

After an early morning cup of coffee and breakfast, drive Kampala to Entebbe through Lake Mburo National park having lunch at the Igongwa cultural centre and arriving in the evening. Full board acccommodation Booma Hotel Entebbe or similar
